Converge Miami is at the heart of an emerging innovation district. Convenient to downtown Miami, the Port of Miami and the Miami International Airport, there is currently a 180K sf building that houses startups, established companies, Converge Labs (shared space and equipment for early stage startups) and key UM programs, including the U Innovation team. Dr. Norma Kenyon serves as the University liaison between the U and Wexford Science and Technology, the U’s partner in developing the district. Converge Miami is located within an opportunity zone, which provides unique opportunities for startups, and we are planning for the second research and innovation building.
